The 2022 Met Gala was held on May 2nd, and the looks were filled of some hits and many misses. The theme this year was "Gilded Glamour."

3. Karlie Kloss - American fashion model. Vogue Paris declared her one of the "top 30 models of the 2000s" when she was 17. Kloss was a Victoria's Secret Angel from 2013 until 2015; she resigned to study at New York University.

3. Hailey Bieber- model

- Bieber wore Saint Laurent, and Tiffany & Co jewlery. Bieber's look was allegedly based on Jerry Hall. The look was simple and classy, but did not refrence the Gilded Age.

Khloe Kardashian- Tv personality/ business owner

- Wearing a gown by Jeremy Scott (Moschino), with 540,000 hand sewn glass beads (created in 10 days). For a last minute look it was ok, but it wasn't a show stoper by anymeans.

2. Kim Kardashian- Tv personality/ business owner

- Kim Kardashian is wearing the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore in 1962 to sing "Happy Birthday" to President JFK. The Gown consist of 6,000 hand-sewn crystals by constumier Jean Louis. The gown is over 60 years old, and while the gown was a gorgeous look, it is a piece of fashion history that should not have been worn at the Met. Kardashian attempted to make claims that she is the next Marilyn, she's not.

3. Kendall Jenner - Model/ tv personality/ business owner

- Jenner is wearing Prada. The skirt refrenced the Gilded Age pleaded style, but the bleached eye brows weren't the look.

Alicia Keys- Actress

- Keys is wearing Ralph Lauren. Dispite the beauty of the gown and tribute of the new york skyline to Key's song, Keys' dress neglected to meet any resemblance to the Met Galas theme. The crystals are silver, thus not playing into the golded gilmour age. Ralph Lauren's main store in New York is at the Rin Lander which is a previous Gilded Age Mansion.

- Ashley is wearing Moschino.

3. Kiki Layne- Actress

- Layne is wearing Prabal Gurung.

- Mendes opted to wear a Tommy Hilfiger look made with upcycled materials. Anna Bernabe was Mendes's hairstylist.

- Mendes is wearing AMI Alexandre Mattiussi. Mendes opted for a look that replacted that of a debutante of new york society in 1883.

- Page opted for a glittery, navy velvet tux and custom brooch by Graziela.

2. Gwen Stefani- Singer

- Stefani is wearing Vera Wang.

3. Addison Rae- Tik Toker

Rae opted for a custom Michael Kors Collection.

Blake Lively - Actress

- Lively is wearing Ralph Lauren.

- Flowers on blue skirt is a refrence to the ceiling constalations on Grand Central Station.

- Drapping from the Statue of Liberty

- The crown has 7 spikes because the Statue of Liberty has seven spikes representing the seven seas and continents which represents inclusivity/welcomness/freedom.

- The crown also has 25 stones for Liberty's 25 windows

Olivia Rodrigo- Singer/Actress

- Rodrigo is wearing Versace.

2. Taylor Hill

- Hill is wearing Miss Sohee and Mariel Haenn.

3. Gigi Hadid- Model

- Hadid opted for a custom Versace look. This is a personal favorite look of mine. Hadid claimed that Donatella looked to design a gown that refrenced the 1800's exagerated womenswear shapes.

Vanessa Hudgens- Actress

- Hudgens is wearing Moschino. Her hair was done by Danielle Priano, makeup was done by Tonya Brewer. Vanessa was the Met Gala carpet co-host.

2. Kacey Musgraves - Singer

- Musgraves is wearing Prada.

3. Kaia Gerber- Model and Cindy Crawford's daughter

- Gerber is wearing Alexander McQueen with glam by Guido Palau and Naoko Sofia Patrizia Scintu.

Emma Chamberlain- Internet personality

- Chamberlain wore Louis Vuitton, and jewlery by Cartier. Kelsey Deenihan Fisher was Emma's makeup artist, and Laura Polka was her hairstylist with coloring done by Dafne Evangelista. Chamberlain's nails were done by Betina R. Goldstein. While Chamberlain's tan top hit on the Gilded Age, the white top and skirt neglected to meet the mark.
