At the 2021 American Music Awards many shock winners took home the coveted titles of the night. Including BTS beating out Ariana Grande, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd for Artist of the Year. But the night did not end there as the eyes of fans around the world were turned to shocking fashion moments and incredible performances.
One of the most talked about moments of the night was Jojo Siwa ditching the rainbows and glitter to wear a gorgeous black gown with her first pair of heels (given to her by DWTS partner Jenna Johnson).
Another talked about moment was Becky G's glamorous look in a purple dress, the latin artist even took home Favorite Female Latin Artist.
Many fans where shocked when Lil Nas X took home the award for Favorite Music Video beating out Silk Sonic, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd, and Cardi B.
Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Dan + Shay, Silk Sonic, MGK, and Marshmallow where also amongst the winners of the night.
