'Girl Named Tom' WINS The Voice 2021 #TEAMKELLY

Musical group 'Girl Named Tom' has become the first trio to win the voice. The siblings have made history not only in being the first trio to win the competition show, but also being the first contestants with four songs on iTunes top 10 list at the same time.


The group from Pettisville, Ohio have been on Kelly Clarkson's team since the beginning of the show with the blind auditions. The trio earned a four chair turn, and earned Clarkson her fourth victory on the show as a coach.


The group features Bekah, Caleb, and Joshua Liechty.


The trio preformed a number of different songs and genres throughout the competition beginning with 'Helplessly Hoping' by: Crosby, Stills & Nash during their blind audition. During their battle round the siblings preformed 'Seven Bridges Road' by the Eagles and ended up claiming the victory. Moving into the knockouts they then preformed 'Wichita Lineman' by Glen Campbell. These three performances earned them a spot in the lives.


The siblings continued to impress coaches, and fans across the world with their impressive sibling harmonies. During the lives the group did a unique take on Coldplays 'Viva la Vida,' and then they continued with a cover of Joni Mitchell's 'River.'


Their final three songs were The Foundation's 'Baby Now That I’ve Found You,' Fleetwood Mac's 'The Chain,' and their cover of 'Leave Before You Love Me' by Marshmello and the Jonas Brothers. The trio preformed 'Leave Before You Love Me' with Kelly Clarkson.


Girl Named Tom's cover of 'River' and 'The Chain' hit #1. They are also the first act to have music from self-released work also in the top 200 at the same time. They had the most views of the season of YouTube with 8.9 million according to Deadline.


Girl Named Tom has accumulated 136 thousand Instagram followers and 28.1 thousand subscribers on Youtube.


Since the ending of The Voice the trio has released a new single titled 'No Snow For Christmas' which is available now on all streaming platforms, and they are just getting started.
