Machine Gun Kelly and JXDN Wrap Tour in Cleveland, Ohio

The Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland Ohio saw the return of Cleveland born rapper/rock star Machine Gun Kelly as he wrapped up his 'Tickets to my Downfall' Tour. MGK recalled a time In 2008 when he was in that same arena watching Jay-Z preform while he sat in the nosebleeds. Now, MGK preformed in the sold out stadium to over 20,000 fans.

MGK has recently taken home awards for Top Rock Album, Alternate Rock album of the year, an MTV Video Music Award for Best Alternative Video, an American Music Award for Favorite Rock Artist, and Top Rock Artist. These recognitions have earned him a lot of attention, many wondering why he wasn't nominated for any Grammy's for his recent album.

Opening act, JXDN, preformed quite the show preforming cover songs, his own music, and even coming back later on in the concert to preform his collaboration with MGK on a song titled 'WANNA BE.'

But, perhaps the highlight of the night was MGK preforming until the stadium had to shut him down because he went past curfew. The star preformed music from many of his albums, and his singles, even adding music to his initial set list making his set go well past midnight.

Jxdn became the first person signed to Travis Barker's record agency, later to release debut album 'Tell Me About Tomorrow.' That album is what led Jxdn's performance, but it became very clear that Jxdn has developed a close bond with MGK as he thanked him for everything. In an instagram post Jxdn said "I can say first hand that you are a legend not only bc of what you do on stage, but mainly how you treat people and work off the stage. this loser kid you gave a chance to rock that f*ckin stage every night because you believed in me when everyone told you not to. I love you man. thank you to the entire family. best year of my life." He also recalled the Cleveland show saying "this was by far the greatest show I've been a part of... CLEVELAND I LOVE YOU. born to be here."

MGK also took to instagram to reflect on the show stating "manifested selling out the Cavs arena since I saw Jay Z do it in 2008, it sold out in one day. you are my gift, thank you for the best homecoming ever, merry xxmas."

Cleveland was happy to have MGK back and during the concert Kelly noted that fans will not go into summer without the next album and that next year he plans on selling out the Browns arena.
