ObiWanKenobi Cast Make Their Entrance in London - Hayden Christensen is BACK!

Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to debut May 27, 2022. The television series will follow The Jedi Master contends with the consequences of his greatest defeat -- the downfall and corruption of his one-time friend and apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

Hayden Christensen is returning to his role as Anakin. The one and only, Ewan McGregor, headlines the six-episode limited series as the beloved Jedi Master, who’s been on the run after being branded a traitor to the Galactic Empire. The show will reunite McGregor with Hayden Christensen, who will again suit up as Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker.

"The television series is [set 10 years] after the events of 2005’s Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan defeated Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar, the series finds its title character hiding out from the Imperial Inquisitors sent to apprehend him (and all surviving Jedi following their mass execution under Order 66, as depicted in Revenge of the Sith). The series is also set 9 years before "A New Hope." This would mean that in the series, Luke Skywalker is approximately 10 years-old.

Although Obi-Wan exiled himself to Tatooine to watch over a young Luke Skywalker (played in the series by Grant Feely), the series will also see him visit other places, including a planet new to Star Wars canon called Daiyu."

The series will be appearing on Disney+ only. Joel Edgerton will be returning to the Star Wars franchise as Uncle Owen Lars, and Bonnie Piesse returns as Aunt Beru Lars.

The Grand Iquisitor is returning in that of Rupert Friend, rather then Jason Issacs who played The Inquisitor in Star Wars Rebels.

The break out star of the series will be Moses Ingram who plays Reva/ The third sister.

"The Clone Wars" is set around 22-19 BBY and flashed out everything that happens between Episode II and III. "Solo" occurred during 13-10 BBY and "Star Wars Rebels" occurs during 5-2 BBY. This means that some aspects from these films can transfer to Obi-wan.

Furthermore, it is believed that The Inquisitors are going after Jedi that survived order 66. It is also seen in the trailer that outside of Tatooine we also get to visit The Water Moon of Nur - The homeworld of the Fortress Inquisitors, also known as the headquarters of the Imperial Inquisitor Program. Finally, we will also be taken to The Planet Daiyu.

It is also rumored that "Star-Wars Jedi: Fallen Order" allegedly takes place 5 years before Obi-Wan.
